About
Here at Kenilworth Chamber of Trade we strive to promote, inform and represent businesses in and around the town. Whether you are a new or well established business, retailer or charitable organisation, the Chamber of Trade is here to support you.
Different from the regional Chamber of Commerce for Coventry and Warwickshire, we are a smaller organisation that serves primarily the businesses and people that are either located in or work within Kenilworth or that have a CV8 postcode. We are proud to say that we have a good relationship with the regional Chamber of Commerce and we are often asked to provide valuable local information and represent the voice of local businesses within the town.
We are a membership organisation that has been serving Kenilworth for more than thirty years. Run by volunteers who live or work locally, the Chamber is managed by a small committee and led by our current Chair Nadine Hummert, herself a local business owner.

Networking and events

We organise a social Networking Lunch every 1st Thursday of the month at various locations in Kenilworth, which is a great way to support our local hospitality businesses within our area too.

Pre-Pandemic, one of our headline events of the year for the Chamber of Trade was the Kenilworth Expo which consisted of a small exhibition of local businesses and community organisations, complimented by a series of seminars and facilitated networking opportunities. Our last Expo before the pandemic was a great success and we were proud to be able to host the event with free entry, due to the generous sponsorship contributions made by a number of local businesses.

Our second major event was our annual awards – The Worthies, celebrating local businesses and individuals that put the ‘worth’ in our Kenilworth community. Public nominations, voting and judging over a period of weeks, culminates in the Chamber of Trade hosting a fabulous black-tie Awards Ceremony recognising our winners and their achievements! An event that brings out the very best in our community.

We are planning to bring both events back and our Committee is already investigating the possibilities. Keep an eye out for more information soon and join our mailing list to receive our monthly updates.

We believe in our town centre and want to help raise the profile of our local industries.

Promotion
We work hard to raise the profile of our members and to promote Kenilworth as a destination to do business. This is achieved through a strong online presence, a monthly newsletter and with a series of events of which the annual Business Expo is our headline event.
Information
We provide our members with local news and information from both our organisation and other local stakeholders. There are also a range of articles and online resources available to our membership in an exclusive members only area on the website.
